Pavilion Seats - $20/person for admission to the Alex and Ani Pavilion. The Alex and Ani Pavilion opens at 3pm on game day. To ensure availability, we recommend advanced reservations online only, by selecting an available table(s) from the Pavilion diagram, then indicating the number of seats you wish to purchase (regardless of age); tables seat up to 4, 6 or 8, and are located on the (L) Lawn, (P) Porchª, (T) Tent*ª, and (D) Decksª. If all of the tables appear reserved, a limited number of upgrades may be available at the Pavilion's hostess desk on gameday for those with paid General Admission tickets. Beverage service is provided from the Twisted Pony Bar. No outside beverages permitted. You may bring food, including offerings from gourmet food truck concessions at the venue. General Admission - $12/adult (kids free up to the age of 15) General Admission to Lawn, Grandstand and Reserved Tailgate Parking areas. Picnics of food & beverage are welcome. Bring lawn chairs & blankets for Lawn area. Lawn and Grandstand are available on a first-come-first-serve basis on game day, and cannot be reserved in advance without authorization from Polo Office. Gates open at 1pm/Noon in Sept. General Admission tickets are sold online or at the entry gates on game day. General Parking is free. Tailgate Parking Spaces (located on the perimeter of the playing field) are offered for reservation online only (see details below).

Reserved Tailgate Parking - $50 per space. Reserved numbered space on the South perimeter. Can accommodate up to 15 people and/or 2 cars end to end. These spaces are located on the perimeter of the playing field from which you can view the match & enjoy a tailgate picnic with up to 15 people/space. Limit of 1 space per household, unless Group ticket minimums are included in multiple space reservation. Reservation does not include admission. General admission is required for each occupant (over the age of 15) in a tailgate parking space. Admission tickets can be added to your Tailgate Parking reservation or in a subsequent online purchase or at the entry gates on game day.
Reserved Tailgate Chalet - $100 per space. Reserved numbered space on the North perimeter, includes installed chalet tent, can accommodate up to 15 people and 1 car. The New England Challenge will showcase top regional players competing in a classic 6-chukker Autumn match. “With players at peak performance, and field conditions superb, we are tuning up for a fast & furious match with New England’s best players this Saturday.”
Rory Torrey, former US Interscholastic and Intercollegiate Champion and Player of the Year, and subsequent career professional polo player and manager in the US and UK high goal polo circuit will lead his team against Carlos Maldonado, originally from Mexico, who achieved one of the highest handicaps in the US among American players, and played high goal polo around the world.
The 6-chukker exhibition polo match will have a duration of approximately 2 hours with a half-time intermission. During the match, a weekly door prize drawing of a Brahmin designer leather handbag will be awarded, as well as a prize for the Best Tailgate from Stella Artois.
After 6 periods, called chukkers, the match will conclude with the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Toast & Trophy Presentation, as well as an autograph signing and cocktail hour to greet the players.
Specialty vendors and gourmet food trucks will be present in the Hospitality & Vendor Villages at the polo grounds, including the Twisted Pony Bar, the Newport Polo Pro Shop, a 35th anniversary Brahmin leather handbag pop pop-up, a Wine Tasting Bar, the Naughty Pony, Flint & Flame, Liberty Travel and Lauren Hope Jewelry. The match takes place minutes from downtown Newport at Newport International Polo Grounds, 250 Linden Lane, Portsmouth, RI, within the 100-acre park-like setting of Glen Farm. Gates open at noon for picnics on the law with General Admission of $12/adult, kids up to age 15 are free. Centerfield Alex and Ani Pavilion seats are $20/seat, open from 2pm.
Dating back more than 130 years in America's First Resort, the polo matches are one of Newport’s grandest & most popular traditions, a living legacy from the Gilded Age, and open to the public. Audiences of several thousand spectators enjoy the contests against international teams, as well as teams representing major US cities, playing against the home team every Sat, June thru Sept. at 5 PM / 4 PM in Sept.

This is the 26th season of Newport International Polo Series, which has hosted teams from over 30 nations including, Germany, Spain, England, Argentina, France, Egypt, India, Australia, Costa Rica, Ghana, Canada, Chile, Jamaica, Nigeria, Portugal, New Zealand, Barbados, Scotland, South Africa, Hungary, Dominican Republic, Netherlands, Kenya, Brazil, China, Italy, Mexico, Sweden, Singapore, Monaco, and Morocco.
