The Newport Polo Club welcomes nominations of nonprofit civic or charitable organizations for consideration as the beneficiary of its 19th annual charity ball on Friday, Aug. 2, 2019. Each year the Newport Polo Club selects a worthy beneficiary to champion with the fundraising efforts of the gala.
Nominations by prospective organizations must include information to satisfy the following criteria for consideration by the gala committee: the nonprofit organization is required to have an active local volunteer corps to serve on the gala auction committee; it must be a 501c3; and additional consideration will be given to the nonprofit's relevance or impact on our community and to the timeliness of need & mission. Submit your nomination by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Gala sponsors and auction donors for the 2019 Polo Ball and auction are also welcome to inquire via email to email@example.com.
Newport Polo has raised over $1,400,000 for civic and charitable organizations. Initiatives include the International Polo Charity Ball, benefit matches, and countless ticket donations for the Newport International Polo Series that have become long-standing traditions and an integral part of Newport Polo’s community efforts.
Non-profit 501-c-3 organizations are also invited to participate in the Rotary Benefit Match on Saturday, May 25th, 2019 and the 4th annual All Charity Day on Sunday, July 14th, 2019, bringing together area organizations for an afternoon of enjoyment and support. Opportunities to participate are open to qualified 501c3 organizations. For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
