Ladies' high caliber competition returns to Newport on NOV 13-15, 2020, offering $2,500 in Prize Money!

Calling all players in peak form to compete in the top women's tournament in the Northeast this year. Hosted for a fourth consecutive year by Newport Polo, home of the Westchester Polo Club, the USPA Northeast Circuit Arena Women’s Challenge is fielding the best players in the region for the culmination of the 2021 season.

USPA NE Circuit Arena Women’s Challenge (3-6 Goal) - $2,500 Prize money, trophies, USPA yearbook page with winner’s photo and names on perpetual trophy. Prize money split between first ($1,500) and second place ($1000); all players earn points towards the NAAC.

Registration. The first 4 teams guaranteed a berth, additional teams can be added in pairs. Team Registration closes Friday, Nov. 5, 2021. The Tournament Entry Fee is $300/team, which will include lunch and refreshments each competition day. Prizes will be awarded to the winners including $2,500 cash prize, trophies, names engraved onto the perpetual trophy and 2021 USPA Blue Book page with photo & recognition, Best Playing Pony and MVP.

The tournament will be officiated by professional umpires from the USPA. The complete schedule will be finalized once all the teams have registered. Tournament brackets and schedule will be determined by live draw on Tuesday, 11/9/21.

As a USPA Arena Event, the USPA Northeast Circuit Arena Women’s Challenge is a qualifying tournament for all amateur players -1 through 3 goals to earn points towards the National Arena Amateur Cup (NAAC ranking). Prize money and support for this tournament is generously provided through the 2021 Tournament Stimulus Program from the United States Polo Association.

The USPA Northeast Circuit Women’s Arena Challenge tournament was hosted in 2020 at Newport Polo, and will be the most competitive women’s tournament in the region this year.

Newport Polo’s indoor and outdoor arenas are state of the art, regulation size polo arenas, with reliable footing for fast, competitive polo. The tournament, which has a maximum field of 6 teams, is well suited to the Northeast, a region renowned for a concentration of arena polo competitors. F
