The NBC-10 Newport International Polo Series recently announced the return of Rhode Island BMW Centers as its presenting sponsor for the 25th anniversary season.
Polo fans have long enjoyed weekly test drives in BMW’s latest models, including our iconic announcer’s favorite, the all-electric i3. This season, the five year partnership will be marked by the creation of an all new BMW Experience to enjoy the finely tuned precision of the ultimate driving machine in a field-side hospitality lounge.
Created on 6/18, 7/2, 7/9, 7/23, 8/6, and 9/3 in 2016, attendees are invited to visit the BMW lounge on these dates to enter for a chance to win a two day trip to the BMW performance driving school in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Registrants will also take home a special gift. Guests can also take part in the BMW virtual reality experience. The BMW lounge is located next to the Alex and Ani Pavilion.
“Continued support from sponsors like BMW has given the Polo Series the longevity to make it to the 25th season,” explained founder and team captain, Dan Keating. “We anticipate an enthusiastic response to new entertainment opportunities that BMW will create for our fans and visiting teams.”
